The Free Little Clothing Closet (FLCC) was conceived by Joan LaForest-Golden who, based on the model of The Free Little Library- which is give a book, take a book has developed the FLCC to provide free clothing to all in need. Clothing is donated, sorted seasonally, laundered and placed into a renovated storefront run by volunteers. We are a 501 (C)3 organization that relies on monetary donations and grants to keep the lights on and the doors open. Our grant sponsors in 2024 are The Adirondack Foundation and Stewarts Shops, for which we are most grateful.
